Hi
In the past few days I can't attach files from Documents which have been saved
on Word 97/2000.
Internet Explorer keeps closing down the program.
I have already earased previous Open Office & downloaded again, but it hasn't
made a difference.
Please help.

May I suggest automatically removing attachments from the digest. If
subscribers wish to send screenshots or documents, we could provide
on an online repository so others can view these if they wish. A
single screenshot saved as a Windows bitmap file (.bmp), the default

When you are sending documents for those using MS Word, use the
File > Send > As Microsoft Word.

with junk and you can even get a program to strip the junk
out of the .doc files. I have seen many of my .doc files
reduced down to 1/4 or more in size using .odt file format.
