Not sure I understand your question. Are you saying that File New

I've found this works well:
Open a document, set the page size to the size of the card. set margins
to about 0.15 inch
Paste in a logo graphic, if you have one.
Borders on paragraphs make great horizontal lines: insert a table if
you need verticals.
