I have installed Openoffice 1.1.4 and have a problem in the spreadsheet
program, I am not able to change Decimal separator from
decimal comma to decimal point.

Locate the directory in which you installed the bulk of OOo and cd into
it. execute ./program/ooovirg
Don't hesitate if you have other questions.
You can also use InstallVirgule which is based on ooovirg
It enables a switch in the toolbar
