I have a PCLinuxOS branded version of OO. It appears that it comes installed
without the help files. Is there a way to add or install the help files

I installed OO 3.1 (twice) and the help files are nowhere! What can I do
to obtain them. I have used OO for 5 or 6 years and have grown
accustomed to the help files. I have also installed several previous

Thanks for your help.

.chm/.chw files.
Yes, it's true, I use Windoze.
Sometimes in many programs it's helpful to just summon up a help file if I

I seem to run into a number of help files that require an internet
connection to retrieve info. Not sure if this is exactly what happens,
but Windows opens an internet connection dialog when I choose certain
help options.
Is this intended, and if so, it seems having all help files in the

Hi,
My Help files on the Calc module do not work, what can I do to get them
working?
The error message is as follows:
Could not find Help page.
Unfortunately the Help page you selected was not found. The following data

My understanding is that this is an issue for the Windows edition of
version 2.0.1 and has been resolved in version 2.0.
To Whom It May Concern:
Recently downloaded openoffice 2.0.1 and everything seems fine but the help
for Calc.

I am sure that other people have asked this, but I couldn't find it in the
FAQ's. This is the second time that I have installed OpenOffice on a machine
and the help files don't link to anything. I just need basic function syntax
for the spreadsheet. I am sure that this is a normal fix. What

I have OpenOffice 1.1 on CD which I purchased from an
independent distributor. However, I cannot access the
"Help" files from the menu. When I click on it, all I
get is a blank box where all the Help files and index
should be. I couldn't get it directly off the disc,
