I am a new user. I have regestered and would like to help the Open Office program to work better. I have had a lot of problems. I cant seem to follow the screens to get help when I regestered. All I want to do is use the program successfully. I have version 2.3 on windows xp system. I use it with a flash drive to store my documents. The third time I used it the writer would not let me close out the program after saving the document. I tried to hit the file then exit. still no closing. I tried the uper left 'x' and still no close I tried alt contrl del and no close. I tried to log off but couldn't log off beceause a program was running. The prompt to stop the program did nothing. I had to hold the switch down and force the computer to shut down. Please help me out here.
