I have been able to manually insert Frame placeholders using Insert>Fields>Other>Functions (in OOo2) but I am now trying to insert Frame placeholders from within Conditional text Fields so that when conditions are meet the frames will show in mail merged documents. I am getting data base fields to show with Conditional text by drag|dropping them from within my doc. into the Else & Then boxes; but I can only get entries like "<Frame1>" when I drag|dropping frame placeholders from within my doc. into the boxes. These do not result in the frame being drawn, nor even the selectable Frame option that appears in the appropriate right click box as with the manual entries which give the "<Frame1>" result at first.
Can anyone help?
