Just thought I would let everyone know.

I downloaded the latest version of OOo 2.0 for the Mac and installed
it on the brand new Intel duo core Mac mini I just purchased. At first
it was no go. X-11 isn't installed by default.

I hauled out the Apple instal disk and did a custom install. A procedure
that is a bit more cumbersome than it needs to be, but only needs to be
done once. It also takes a relatively long time, but once underway, you
can go off and do something else for a while and just reboot when it
is completed.

With X-11 installed, OOo worked just like it does on my Dual G5. I even
installed my Apple Personal Laserwriter NTR with ethernet to Appletalk
bridge and printed. This brings up the one niggley I have with OOo.
With this printer OOo on both the Intel Mac mini and my Dual G5, the
print dialog in OOo only shows the 'generic printer' and not the named
printer or printer model in the dialog. It does print to the printer fine
though.

Yes, the Mac mini is probably using Rosetta to get OOo to work, but
work it does and at a good rate.
