*What happens?* This worked in 2.4.1: Write this in a cell, for example in B1: =SUM($A$1:A1) Hit ↵ (Enter) Go back to the cell and look at its formula. OpenOffice.org has changed the formula, without asking me, to: =SUM($A$1:$A$1) This is ridiculous! This works like expected, however: =SUM
