Please help.

I collect data every day, and make a summary.

There are five different columns which I need to COUNT, COUNTIF, SUM, or SUMIF.

When I copy my summary of calculations from one day to the next, the end
address of a column is automatic, with a relative address.

The beginning address in a column is not automatic, because the number of rows
varies. After doing this for a year, I am tired of manually altering the
beginning address, to provide the correct range for COUNT, COUNTIF, SUM, or
SUMIF.

What I want to do is to click on the starting row and have the five columns of
data then know what to COUNT or SUM.

I do not know how to calculate the first address, for use in a range.

I have tried CONCATENATE, ROW, COLUMN, ADDRESS, and INDIRECT, but when I stick
the result into COUNT, COUNTIF, SUM, or SUMIF all I get is an error message.

Please show me an example.

Thank you,
John Gilchrist
