The easiest way is probably to uninstall it and then download & install
the English version from www.openoffice.org.
BTW, this mail list is for users of OpenO

then "language settings"->"language" in the dialogue box.
(of course, if your menus are in Italian, the words will be different, if
it helps, "tools" is the 5th menu item on the top row, and options is the
last item in the drop down list. Language Options
