The OO files are in C:\ProgramFiles\OpenOffice.org3 as: Open Office splash startup sofffice.exe Writer swriter.exe Calc scalc.exe Impress smpress.exe Math smath.exe Draw sdraw.exe
Locate the file you want, right click on it choose Send to Desktop (create shortcut) I've usually not had a problem with the shortcut. Generally, it just shows up. Good luck! Sharon S.
