Officially no, OOo won't be killed, and at present it's email lists have
moved to the apache hosted project. Unfortunately I do feel that it may
well be in mortal decline, largely due to Oracle's attitude whe they
took over SUn, and hence stewardship of OOo. The Libreoffice fork of OOo
