This formatting device is called Fixed Decimal in Excel. It remains
absent from OO Calc, as you will read.

The downside is you must enter 00 for even dollars. For me
in excel you can adjust the cell contents so that if you enter -5432
you end up with (54.32) in red as the final cell contents
in Oo i try that after adjusting the cell contents and i end up with
(5432.00) in red
am i missing something very simple
