[users] where do I report problems with OPenOffice

Hi All, I have had a small problem with an excel file opened with OO Calc, in that it does not display some fields properly in OO Calc but does when opened with excel. where should I report this error to? -- ¿¿¿ (ô ô) [EMAIL PROTECTED] ooO-(_)-Ooo

Ok, Its a spreadsheet imported from a website. Column values as displayed in excel on the left and the same column values as displayed in OO Calc on the right: row 2 42.001 42 row 3 42.002 42 row 4 42.003 42 row 5 42.004 42 row 8 42.005 42.01 row 9 42.006 42.01 row10

In this case, I would reformat the column in Calc. Right click the letter at the top of the column. Select Format cells. Under the Numbers tab, change the number of decimal places to three. This should solve the problem. As far as where to report this problem, I will let someone else

Hi Graham, To avoid having to format every sheet to display the data as you'd like, go to 'tools / options / openoffice.org Calc / calculate' and set the number of decimals to 3. It appears that OOo has a default decimal display of 2, while in Excel (at least excel97) it's 6. tc Graham Wicken
