I've seen this in the list archives, but not sure how much traction it's
gained in the intervening period (or ).
I've fiddled with, and had some pretty decent experiences with

If it can help I wrote an oVirt engine migration page for oVirt 3.1 on:

. I suppose some of the steps might be adapted for your case easily.

Hi,
Because I have foreseen this situation on my side for future upgrades
and fail-over cases, I did a simpler .sh script with a crontab to run on
a nightly basis.
I have attached the script here for you and others to use it and don't
bump in the future in such problems with your sistem.
I have a situation where the Active Directory domain I am trying to use
as authentication for ovirt lists many servers all around the world.
But... my server running ovirt is sitting behind a firewall that doesn't
allow me to access all of them... only the local ones. We do have a

Will -ldapServers option help you ?
It allows you to set an LDAP servers per domain, and modified the krb5.conf

Hi All,
I was wondering if there is a document that describes in detail how ovirt
is working with iscsi and how it creates the disks, etc. etc. on the SAN /
iSCSI storage ?
I checked the online documentation however cant see it going into much
detail. I'd also be prepared to write something up

Hi,
A user of mine is trying to ruin oVirt's reputation by asking me how
will I handle the USB dongle issue.
I found nothing like USB passthrough drivers, and I don't intend to use
such a bad solution.
Is there anyone here who faced such a request?
I saw http://www.dongleservice.com/ and
That seems to get ignored if the provider type is ActiveDirectory.

Hi Alex,
Currently there is no document going into details as you request.
Most documentations relate to flows/capabilities.
Some features are described in more detail (

interest AFAIK.
I remind you that we are open
@Daniel, what about IE=edge,chrome=1, which adds preference for

We might gain some HTML5 features support on IE for free...

Both the manager and the node are fresh installs of fedora 18, and the node
ovirt install was initiated from the web console (so I don’t see how its
possible I have a downlevel version on the node).

I'm verifying this behavior with an oVirt 3.2 beta in all-in-one config

Did you add the ovirt repo to the node before deploying it? If not then
you may have the older vdsm from the fedora repo.
