That is the way that I run my setup and it works fine. There is a little over
head with the engine though. If you have enough RAM and cpu power to spare it
shouldnt be a problem

Ceph is the way to go for storage needs if you ask me,
The oVirt development team is pleased to announce the general

source alternative to VMware vSphere.
oVirt is available now for Fedora 19 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5
