Alex is correct. This is what the storage lease feature was designed for.

Enabling VM leases could be an answer to this. Will test tomorrow.

I'm new to ovirt and I'm wondering if this affects performance, or if it is
just a layer of abstraction given to the VM? I was able to get correct CPU
reporting by ticking "pass-through host CPU" but I'm not sure if this is a
necessary thing to do.
I assume it's just an abstraction thing for live

Note
The hugepages are no longer a hook, but part of the code base. They
can be configured via engine property `hugepages`, where the value of
property is size of the pages in KiB (1048576 = 1G, 2048 = 2M).

I am incredibly sorry over this noob question but I am really bashing my head
trying to simply change an IP address on an Ovirt host. oVirt was pushed to
this host through the server web interface. It is running on top of Centos 7.
From the docs it says to log into the host and edit the

We just released 4.1.6 today. I would wait to see qemu-kvm-ev 2.9.0 appear
in yum update
I've just updated my test servers to 7.4 (not hosted engine though). So
far no issues but it's been less than 24hrs...

Hi All,
When I get console of a Windows VM (Windows 10 x64bit) I am requested to
authenticate and then the user is disconnected (though not logged out as
the apps of the user are still open).
I have tested this with QXL/SPICE and VGA/VNC console mode.
Is there any mode at oVirt console to get
I also wanted to know this which is pretty useful for these scenario.
Great question !

Hello,
I'm wondering if there is a way to trunk all VLANs to a PFSense VM similar
to using the "4095" tag in ESXi. I've tried using an untagged interface on
the same bond to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas? Perhaps it's a problem with the virtio drivers and
not the network setup itself?
Ok, noted...
Will reconfigure this volume from scratch.
Thanx,
Alex

Hi,
In the agent.log file i see that it fails to connect to storage server.
Can you please check the following .
1) can you please check 'gluster peer status' and make sure that all the
nodes in the cluster are connected ?
2) can you gluster volume status and make sure that at
least two of

Possibly. I don't think changing shard size on the fly is supported,
especially when there are files on the volume that are sharded with a

When checking the bricks on the file system I see that what is different
