Hello,
I have an environment with 3 hosts and gluster HCI on 4.1.3.
I'm following this link to take it to 4.1.7
https://www.ovirt.org/documentation/how-to/hosted-
engine/#upgrade-hosted-engine
The hosts and engine were at 7.3 prior of beginning the update.
All went ok for the engine that now is on

Hi,
- I would not recommend changing the hw clock timezone
- The OS timezone can be freely changed afaik (using any tool possible)
- I do not see how enabling time sync would break anything either
My development machines run engine using CET timezone and hosts using
UTC. I have never seen any iss
Hello,
I have a self hosted engine HCI environment that was born in 4.0.5 through
the ansible/gdeploy mechanism and then gradually updated to 4.1.7
Now the engine and host are at CentOS 7.4 level. Inside the gdeploy jobs
the engine vm was installed through the appliance at the 4.0.5 time.

You might be missing the
The oVirt show if the phisical host is unresponsive. Virtual Machines
appear with a "?" on the status and I cannot start in another machine. I

then how do you know it’s non responsive and how do you want to make sure it’s
not still running without fencing
Hello folks.
Ou oVirt (4.1.7.3-1.el7.centos) which runs in one Datacenter and
controls Nodes locally and also remotelly lost communication with the
remote Nodes in another Datacenter.
To this point nothing wrong as the Nodes can continue working as
expected and running their Virtual Machines e
I had configured, but, I want to migrate before fencing. It's too long to
start the machine again when phisical host not start.

Yes Irit, but you say in the Host side that has the OVS which is
connected to the VMs. Or are there any further steps to be done also on
the VMs in certain cases. In short it would be interesting if you don't
have to do much inside the VM, only in the host to have some performance
improvment ga
