Hello,
I tried to reproduce the problem, but did not succeed. What version of
oVirt do you have? And what are the exact steps?
Please send engine and server logs.
Thank you.

Hi,
Any thoughts on these, any ideeas ?
Maybe buying a payed cinder service from a cloud provider would do the job,
or implement some sort of image repo in my datacenter and expose it over
the web with some form of auth ?
Any case scenarios ?
Thank you very much !

real HA is complicated, no way around that...
As stated earlier, we also run engine bare metal using pacemaker /
corosync / drbd to keep both nodes in perfect sync, failover happens in
a few seconds. We also do daily backups of the engine, but in the 4
years or so that we have been running
Well, I really love oVirt, but I don't know.. All the solutions mentioned
here are complicated and or dangerous. Including hosted ha engine that
fails while deploying(for me). I think that test the backup for recovery is
very important and need to be done on a regular basis, What good is a
backup
I'm still sort of new to ovirt, but I went through a similar things. I had my
original engine fail and had to recover, so here is my "oVirt HA plan"
1. I do NOT use hosted ovirt, I had issues getting it deployed correctly, and
that doesn't help if they engine VM itself has issues. My engine
I ended up finally figuring this out after I read a few more articles. I
managed to not reboot all the original gluster hosts. Once I rebooted all the
gluster hosts and the engine (just in case) I was successfully able to import
the storage domains and managed to not lose any VMs at all.
Dears,
I have an a some error in Ovirt 4.2.7
In dash I see:
ETL service aggregation to hourly tables has encountered an error. Please
consult the service log for more details.

Hi all,
I have a host with 2 M60 with the latest supported driver installed, and

It is gluster in my case too, but using HCI single host deployment
Importing usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/vdsm/rpc/vdsm-api.pickle
from vdsm-api-4.30.5-2.gitf824ec2.el7.noarch.rpm
also fixes the issue for gluster storage

Dear oVirt team,
I would like to ask you help in get some general guidelines, do’s & don’ts in
deploying complete oVirt environment using Ansible.
The first Production deployment I made was done manual:
12 Hypervsiors – all exact same HW Brand and Specs
3/12 used for HA Env for SHE
oVirt

Would this default issue also affect gluster storage ?
