Hi,
I strongly suspect this is the same problem I’ve reported a few days ago as
“New disk creation very slow after upgrade to 4.3.3”, in particular this:
In the UI the default is "preallocated" but changing it to thin provision does
not make any difference, regardless of this setting, an falloc
Hi,
with a little help from Red Hat my current solution looks like this:
https://github.com/Klaas-/ovirt-engine-sdk/blob/663cc06516f9ace45ba046a3b2ba14a6724cfb8a/sdk/examples/change_vm_lease_storage_domain.py#L51-L83
using a correlation_id to find the running task with jobs_service and then
watch
Complete shutdown of 4.3.3 cluster, change cluster from 4.2 to 4.3
compatibility and upgrade of all hosts to current 4.3.3 with patches has
seemingly fixed everything.

I have raised a bug (1704782 – ovirt 4.3.3 doesn't allow creation of VM with
"Thin Provision"-ed disk (always preallocated)) , despite not being sure if I
have selected the right category.

Hi Oliver,
can you check your version of UI ?
It seems that both VMs I had created are fully "Preallocated" instead of being
"Thin Provisioned".
Can someone lead me what section of bugzilla should I open the bug ?
Here is some output:

Thanks a bunch for the reply Didi and Simone. I will admit this last setup was
a bit of wild attempt to see if i could get it working somehow so maybe it
wasn't the best example to submit...and yeah, should have been /24 subnets.
Initially I tried the single nic setup, but the outcome seemed t

Hello,
that is definitely not my problem. Did a complete new deployment (after
rebooting host)
Before deploying on my storage:

Hi,RabidCicada
I am trying to use nested virtualization on production to expand a 5 hosts
cluster.
I want to use a single nested host in which I will not deploy the hosted engine
VM.
This expansion will last just for a few months and our more critical VMs will
never run on the nested host, so
