Hi Rob,
I would check the vdsm logs on the host where the HostedEngine VM was already
running (source).
Also , you can check the logs on the HE itself.
In the UI, check the cluster cpu settings and your hosts. Is it possible that
one node has newer CPU than the other ?

Hello,
In my hyperconverged environment I cannot live migrate the hosted engine.
However shutting down the hosted engine then starting it on another host
works fine.
This is the only way to migrate the engine to any of the hosts that are
configured for the engine.
I can't seem to find anything i
Yes,
replica volume size is the size of the smallest brick. If you have 3 hosts with
3 directories called /gluster_bricks/engine/engine , you need to extend every
block device that is used for mounting on /gluster_bricks/engine.

Dear Mr.Strahil Nikolov,,
"Then you need to go to each server and extend the mount point to at least
61GB." - this means I have to get into each bricks (brick 1 & brick2) then have
to extend the mount point on each bricks at-least 61GB?
Let me know if I understood correct or not.
Thanks once
You just need to get the bricks via:
gluster volume info engine
Then you need to go to each server and extend the mount point to at least 61GB.
Also, you need to mount and delete everything inside the content.
Last issue:
/usr/sbin/ovirt-hosted-engine-cleanup

Cleaning up is OK, but I got no idea why it fails.
What was the exact error ?

Hello,
I'm managing Ovirt environment 4.3 and I'm very new to this area. The setup was
already done by former colleague and right now I'm managing this environment.
Recently, one VM's OS got corrupted and I have to re-install the OS in that VM
to bring the VM up and running. For doing this, I n

Dear Mr.Strahil Nikolov,
Thank you once again!
I tried cleaning up the storage path but I'm still facing this same issue. I
would like to know whether am I doing it in a correct way or not. I jus deleted
the storage data and again ran the script from the error point but still the
same error.
I also have this:
systemctl status network.service -l
● network.service - LSB: Bring up/down networking
Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/network; generated)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Fri 2020-11-06 11:23:24 CET; 21s ago
Docs: man:systemd-sysv-generator(8)
Process: 49850
I get this output on the node:
cat /var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log | grep "I am the actual vdsm"
2020-11-05 10:32:24,495+0100 INFO (MainThread) [vds] (PID: 15547) I am the

steps:
- use cockpit to create inventory file ( ie click through it untill it
shows you a large yaml text)
- log in to host
- start tmux
- cd to /usr/share/cockpit/ovirt-dashboard/ansible
- issue ansible-playbook hc-wizard.yml -i /path/to/inventory.yml
- sit back and wait for t
Hi,
We're using oVirt 4.3.8, having an organization that intensively uses
the User Portal. After upgrading from 4.2, we've noticed that cloning a
VM from within the User Portal is not possible anymore. In our case,
this feature was heavily used by hundreds of students deploying their VMs.

Hi,
For some reason my browser and network like to produce hiccups during the
running of the hyperconverge script and the hosted engine install script. (
My prime suspect is Murphy )
This is a default feature in all browsers on any platform.
This is why I try to avoid the use of cockpit for comple
Hi guys and girls,
Every time I try to create a bond with my two onboard intel nic's (any type of
bond) via hosted engine, it will fail with the following error "Error while
executing action HostSetupNetworks: Unexpected exception", it will still get
created on the node but then the engine will
