One workaround that comes to my mind is to power up the VM, write a large file
and delete it and run fstrim -av.Another approach is to create an additional LV
inside the guest, use dd to fill it in and then blkdiscard and delete the LV .
It will force the fisk to be fully allocated

This should be fixed in oVirt
Hi,
yes 4.3 has the disabled the change of switch type, because it was broken
and only few scenarios succeeded. The 4.4 allows to change it after
installation.
For the second part @Asaf Rachmani is there any
option in the HE deploy to specify default switch type? I am not aware of

Unfortunately the disks remain as Thin Provisioned - is this a known bug and is
there a workaround?

2. The stability of the cluster has been an issue which has resulted in several
new clusters being built.

I tried this and it didn't work. In 4.3 the option to change the switch type is
not allowed. I still changed the switch type of ovirtmgmt in the file and
rebooted. But it didn't have any effect.
Isn't there a way we can specify OVS as switch type when installing the
self-hosted engine?
