Hello Alex,
I had done the same thing back when I had 3.0 installed. I used v2v to
move 10 vm's off of a dell T710 ESXi 4.1 to Ovirt 3.0. It directly
imported them to my export domain and I then imported onto an ovirt node.
Windows vm's needed a driver iso installed to import with v2v otherwise

I noticed something. If I am trying to mount the gluster share from
another computer and do not include mounproto=tcp it times out. vers=3 or
4 does not matter. Could this be why I can not add it from the engine gui?

Ok. So none of the node builds work? What node builds work with 3.1? Can
I use older nodes built under fedora 16 on hosts in 3.1?

There is no error while adding an import domain ISO or Export domain the
spinning wheel stays spinning. I have left it for a full day and still
spinning. Is there a node ISP that works on 3.1 with nfs?

I had the same problem on my nfs server I had to manually delete then I
could delete the vm. Once I can replicate the problem I will email again.

Hello all,
I had a question yesterday about storage domains having a permissions
denied error. Something I forgot to ask is can you use a data domain like
a master data domain? Meaning can you spin up virtual machines system
drives on a non master data domain?
Thanks,

Permission denied .
Again permissions are set fine vdsm owns them and can access and create
disks just cannot run the vm.

Do we just need to put the .iso somewhere to meet this need?

Does vdsm have to be installed on the server that shares the main
datastore? Export and ISO are fine no problems.
