Hi guys,
My apologies if this is a re-post, but I don't recall seeing any replies.
I've just added some new LUNS to my SAN, and when
trying to prepare for when things finally finish.
Thank you.

Hi Neil,
To severely impact iops with a single nonaligned VM - image the is
rather unusual.
Can you please be more specific:
IIRC, to run into the misalignment scenario you need
and I can install using virtio or IDE.
My apologies for this being such a silly issue.
Thank you very much for your all of your assistance.
It is greatly appreciated as usual.

That has sorted it out. The permissions got messed up in between

Thank you very much, greatly appreciated.

need to get this R2 installed.
Further to what Paul mentioned below, this was upgraded from 3.1 so it
doesn't just appear to happen to new 3.4 installs.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you Rene, greatly appreciated.
I'm using the Server 2012 R2 Standard edition and at this point I
haven't even got a NIC added to the VM.
Another piece of info which might be useful (or not) is I'm using a FC
SAN for storage, not sure if this would have any affect.
Thanks.

UPDATE 1
This then unlocked the disk and it allowed me to remove the entire VM
and disk thereafter.
Thank you very much for your assistance.

I just noticed this in the console and I don't know if it is relevant.
When I look at the General tab on the hosts under GlusterFS Version it

You wrote that you migrated from 3.1 to 3.4.
I imagine this is a new VM created from scratch when already in 3.4,
correct?
If I remember correctly 3.1 form ovirt
happen due to following reasons
- gluster volume status vm-store is not consistently returning the right
output
- ovirt-engine is not able to identify the bricks properly
Anyway, engine.log will give better clarity.

Hi guys:
Please do not just say your one is working it is helpless in fact there
already some guys reported issues in Win platform (including me
restore which between the two of them got rid of the
issue. I'm assuming it was the engine-cleanup that sorted out the db
renaming problem though.
Once that was done I then managed to upgrade to 3.3 and I'll now do
the 3.4 upgrade.
Thanks very much for those who assisted.
