Hi
Can you share some more information about your enviroment ?
1. Stack (ovirt,libvirt,vdsm, etc)
2. What is your setup ?
3. Did you do any steps like upgrade/add an additional host ?
If possible, please share agent and vdsm logs.
I would check for starters the status of the agent service (e.g.

Hi
There is a BZ with a similar issue:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1546839
To sum things up, try stopping the network manager and restarting your
network if you are using a RH distribution, e,g. :
systemctl stop NetworkManager
systemctl restart network
And check what is your

What is the output of hosted-engine --vm-status ?
Can you provide agent.log, vdsm.log ?

Hi
Did the VM start properly ? what does the events in UI indicate ? did you
try running it on a different host just for indication ?
Please share engine.log and vdsm.log (of the new host) if possible

Thanks for the update, we will check if there is a bug in the upgrade

Might be a selinux related issue, similar threads suggest either to disable
selinux completely or run on host:
# setenforce 0
# yum clean expire-cache
# yum update selinux-policy\*
# setenforce 1
keeping an eye out for other reasons/solutions.

the SELinux configuration on RHEV Hypervisors in a persistent
state, SELinux is enabled by default.
You'll need to run sestatus as a superuser on each host in the cluster and
observe the output,
evaluate each host in the cluster to make sure the setting for "SELinux
status" is consistent.
Rega
cores you wish the
VM to have:
memSize=4096
smp=1 *smp = number of virtual cores*
Start the VM again:# hosted-engine --vm-start
And take it out of maintenance mode:
# hosted-engine --set-maintenance --mode=none

HI,
First of all, maybe a chain reaction of :
WARN [org.ovirt.engine.core.bll.exportimport.ImportVmCommand]

failed for user SYSTEM. Reasons: VAR__ACTION__IMPORT

If im not mistaken the values of vm.conf are repopulated from the database
, but i wouldn't recommend meddling with DB data.
maybe the network device wasn't set properly during the hosted engine setup
?

Hi Rafal
not sure it relates to your issue, but i experienced a similar issue with
segfault (running on fedora 25)
to resolve it i had to remove glibc packages and then install them again
(maybe a same workaround for libvirt will do the job here)

Hi Juan,
You probably see these repeating messages since ovirt-ha-agent is opening
and closing multiple connections.
see BZ:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1349829
This is probably harmless in the overall picture.

Then when adding a disk to a vm you can select a disk profile out of the
existing storage domain's disk profiles (default and the ones you created)
You can even choose to edit the vm's disk via the UI and change the disk
profile.

Did you ran engine-setup after restore ?
also worth checking your /etc/hosts files for discrepancies.

What are you aiming for ? having a filtered list in UI for a vm ? add a
non-existing OS to the list ?

Hi,
A couple of questions for starters :
1. What did you use for importing the ova file ?
have you tried the uploader command : engine-image-uploader -e --name
upload
2.Was the ova file was created by oVirt ? (the uploader tool supports only
files created by ovirt)
