But looking at the dump of your repo files I see: DNF Repo dump: /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Stream-BaseOS.repo [baseos] bandwidth = 0 baseurl = http://vault.centos.org/centos/8/BaseOS/x86_64/os/ So you're not using CentOS Stream at all, you're using CentOS Linux 8.
