Pulling project down via subversion (in Eclipse)

I'm trying to pull down the project via SVN (as per http://pdfbox.apache.org/download.html) with Eclipse and the SVN plugin, but i keep getting a heap error. Even when i push the heap up to 900MB! What's the best way to pull this down? Forgive me, i'm new to Subversion!
