there are in Sogo package a script for the backup
and even prepare the crontab in /etc/cron.d/sogo
the script is sogo-backup.sh
You have just to edit it and set some parameters.

sogo-tool can be used to dump all of the users data (calendars/tasks/addressbook) and then reimported on the new install.
