I also have een problem with diacrytical signs. Adresbookitems will not be
synchronised with my windows8 thunderbird. I use a dutch version.

I try use SOGo in Polish language.
But I have some problems with diacritical characters in tasks names, "Personal
address book" I see in polish "Osobista ksi??ka adresowa", contacts in
"Personal address book" have not also diacritical characters.
So in place polish diacritical characters I h
ok solve the problem:
/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
change few line in the /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
namespace inbox {
inbox=yes
separator = /
mailbox Trash {
auto = subscribe
special_use = \Trash
}
mailbox Drafts {
auto = subscribe
special_use = \Dr
I think the problem comes from elsewhere... Not SOGo/Dovecot/Any other
Software.
"its spam the sogo.log file" = normal.
"but the folders exist..." = ahem.. it's supposed to explain the real
