I would love to set the "Animation level globally for all users to “None”. is this somehow possible? also enabling “Enable Desktop Notifications” and “When sending mail, add unknown recipients to my” -> “Personal Address Book”

Hello As ActiveSync broke for that user, you should reset it on the SOGo side for that user. Check for syntax with: /usr/sbin/sogo-tool manage-eas When doing so, the MS Outlook client has to be shut down. Then use "listdevices" and "resetdevice". Afterwards start MS Outlook again. Kind regards,
