Good morning Paul,
good morning Götz,

thanks for your help.
I'm running Sogo under Ubuntu 14.04 with dovecot, fetchmail and postfix.
Actually it's just an implementation for my family and me at home, I got
tired of all the webservices and their security and the big brother watching
us.

So I will move the mails or just mount a directory of the disk-array to
/var/mail/

Regards
Marc

That depends on which Linux distro and which IMAP service you are using.

When it's Debian and Cyrus, you will find the mail in /var/spool/cyrus and
the databases in /usr/lib/cyrus/ .

When you are using Dovecot, you will find in most cases the mail in the
homedirectoies of the users.

With regards,
Paul van der Vlis.
