Which type your IMAP folders are? I mean, Mbox or Maildir?
Mbox
If they are Mbox, you have to convert folders to Maildir.
But if I use Thunderbird I can delete folders without an error. Does
this error occurs because sogo try to move the folder to the "Trash"-folder?
