can any one help me i want a pre commit hook script server side subversion
for windows to block the commit if conflict markers are present in the
committing file
I have installed SVN 1.8.9 on Debian 7 but the issue is when I try to
access the repository through 'lynx' there it shows :
*" Powered by Subversion version 1.6.17 (r1128011). "*
I am not understanding why is it not showing version as 1.8.9.
Please advise.

Did you compile your own svn binary for Windows? If so, I suggest you first
try one of the freely available binary packages, and see if you can
replicate the issue.
