TAP5-920 has long been an issue for one of our applications which uses

In the past we have worked around the issue by providing an encoder

We are now working on upgrading from 5.1.0.5 to 5.2.4 and have run

It seems that the project is very stirring. I'm looking forward it.

Ok I think, though I'm not certain that it's a subfolder of the root
context. Is it possible to set this up to work with tapestry or can I only
use a context folder?
Thanks for your fast replies all,

Are you sure the folder you have access to is a context folder and not just a
subfolder of the ROOT context? Does it already contain a WEB-INF folder?
You might also need to manually restart that context to pick up the
uploaded jars.

Dear users,
I'm applying for GSOC 2011 to work on tapestry and I really hope you can
give ideas on what you like too see as a part of tapestry.
Maybe focus on some new custom components that you think will popularize the
framework more and be useful for the majority of users.

Hey Gavin,
Your project is /extremely/ ambitious. As Igor already said, I'd concentrate on
Tapestry 5 alone.
What you probably want to create is a plugin that does some basic but still
helpful stuff and extend
it from there. You definitely won't accomplish everything you've outlined

Hi Gavin,
your project sounds very interesting. Do you think it is possible to create
such a plugin in scope of GSoC? It looks like a lot of work. If I were you,
I would concentrate on Tapestry 5. I believe that efforts for versions < 5

Glad you got it working. On my project I always wanted those callbacks
so that's the way I defaulted it. My plan was to look at the
containing component to see what callbacks it has and default to that.
If you create an issue on GitHub it will remind me to do that.
Thank you for your reply, Thiago.
The hibernate-spatial-postgis of the maven repository appears to be out
of date.
I checked out the svn repository version of
hibernate-spatial-postgis+hibernate-spatial and it seems to be solved
now. Hope it will work correctly :-)

ok it's working, it's a nice set of components, some suggestions for the
'like':
events default to nil, most of time we don't need to capture that, if the
url has been rewritten , those generated events do not match and we got a
lot of exceptions in the log.
