Just a survey ... does ANYBODY use the FormInjector component directly?
It's going to be a lot of work to upgrade it for 5.4 and I'm very tempted

Your post was too vague for us to even know what's the problem. Just
saying "unsuccessfully" doesn't explain what's the desired outcome and how
the current one differs from it.
