In case you didn't already know, a very alpha version of Tapestry 4.1 has
been released.

This release will be spending a lot of time focusing around 3 main items:

-) Ajax, of course.

-) Tapestry "quircks".

-) Better documentation. (These last two really get handled by the more
general http://wiki.apache.org/tapestry/Tapestry41WishList.  )

Though you don't see a lot of new components yet, I hope people don't think
this is all that is coming in 4.1.

I've been spending a lot of time laying down the foundation for things, but
we've barely gotten started in terms of the new type of
components/functionality you'll have at your disposal. Expect a ~lot~ more
to come. I think everyone will be very happy with the end result.

Tapestry is an open-source framework for creating dynamic, robust, highly
scalable web applications in Java. Tapestry complements and builds upon the
standard Java Servlet API, and so it works in any servlet container or
application server.
