T41: RedirectException and async?

I have a small security workflow which is heavily based on 
RedirectExceptions - and was wandering how the tapestry javascript would 
accept this -

When a page is accessed with unsufficient permitions, a 
RedirectException is thrown.

Now, what if the request is async ?
