Hi! When reading the JTA JSR I find very little on 1PC optimizations.
Questions 1. Could someone clarify the relationship between JTA and JTS? 2. What JTA implementation is used in TomEE? Geronimo? 3. Does anyone know what JTA implementation is used in WebSphere? (On Windows and Z/OS?, RRS?) 4. Is a JTA implementation required to understand when to fallback and use a 1PC optimizations? If not where can I find out which does and which does not? 5. In what cases are 1PC used? Is it both when the resource managers are not xa capable? and when there is only one resource manager involved in the tx?
