My bad! I was had done s search on CompoundPropertyModel and
BoundCompoundPropertyModel showed up in the deprecated list but I just
saw the highlighted CompountPropertyModel part... =]

Really, you use normal models and LDMs, or BindGen
(http://code.google.com/p/bindgen-wicket/) and make your code type-safe.
What is wrong with compoundpropertymodel (pre 1.5)?
