I'm using jdk 6 which I have downloaded from the sun webpage. then I gave the
/usr/bin/java binary to this oc4j instance as suggested on the howto. so it
takes the jdk6 instead of the jre 1.4 of the OAS installation.

My env: Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.3.0
Oracle Database 11g, used ojdbc6.jar and also other jar files from the
oracle 11g client otherwise I got the following error:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
oracle.i18n.text.converter.CharacterConverterOGS.getInstance
