It's functional for me with Firefox 7 and XWiki 2.7.
Ctrl-g then Ctrl-v and the copied text is pasted in the input field.
Note that just after hitting Ctrl-g, the cursor blinks in the input box.

However, I tried IE9, it works...It must be due to the browser...
