Android Developer for our client in the Dallas area. Must have Android Tablet 3.0 or 4.0 experience. Position Purpose: . Work with a Scrum team of developers, analysts, and product owners to build Android applications for a multi-tier Restaurant POS system. . Key Responsibilities: . Working within an Agile development methodology . Collaborating with peers to meet complex multi-tier system requirements . Implementing Java applications on an Android tablet device . Providing subject matter expertise for Android-specific development challenges . Ability to learn and absorb new technologies as needed . Sharing of application testing responsibilities with project team Qualifications: . Education/Certification: Bachelor's in Computer Science or comparable. . Required Experience: . 5+ total years of professional software development experience . 5+ total years of Java Development experience . Sound knowledge of Android SDK and technologies . Experience integrating with RESTful API's . Excellent written and verbal communication skills . JUnit testing framework . Desirable Experience (not required): . Experience working on a Scrum team, experience in a team room . POS payment applications or transaction processing . Test-Driven Development .
