*Need someone with Architecture experience*
*Title: Hadoop / HBase*
*Duration: 6+ months*
*LOCATION: Houston, TX (Downtown)*
*MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:*
1-3 years experience as an architect for big data with hands on design
experience
in Hbase including the following:
· Experience Designing HBase tables
· Experience designing & implementing HBase
data structure
· Working with the Internal concepts of HBase
· Hands-on experience with traditional RDBMS (
Teradata, Oracle etc)
· Strong understanding of Cloud based computing
*DESIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:*
· Experience with Cloudera CDH4 or above
· HBase Certification would be a huge plus.
· Experience with Spark, Kafka and STORM for processing
real-time data is desired
*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*
· Design and Implement a new HBase data structure
· Extract, transform and load input files into Hbase
· Configure an HBase SQL front-end
