Phone Hire* *Security Analyst* *Duration - 6 months to 1 year* *Location -New York NY* *JOB DESCRIPTION* *I. Job Summary * The Security Analyst role will have oversight for the development, coordination and execution of role based access controls (RBAC), access reviews, responding to audit requests, testing current access controls, design and implementation of new access controls, policy, processes and procedures and security access management metrics. The security analyst may also participate in security projects and meetings and provide subject matter expertise on a variety of security related subjects. *II. Accountabilities * 1. Responsible for the configuration of access review policies, scheduling access reviews and ensuring access reviews are completed in a timely manner. Ensures access remediation tasks are created and access is remediated as required. 2. Develops and enhances process for pro-actively testing and validating existing security access controls; identifies and implements new access controls as required. Ensures security access controls are in compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. 3. Establishes and maintains processes and procedures for developing role based access controls (RBAC) for business users and clients. Reviews existing account provisioning processes and provides recommendations to enhance processes; including automation of account provisioning and de-provisioning. 4. Responsible for producing monthly access management metrics report and coordinating the monthly review with the IT Security team. Enhances and improves metrics reporting processes and identifies new metrics to be reported. 5. Maintain and document password management processes and procedures. Works with IT teams to identify opportunities to improve password management self-service utilization. 6. Review information security policies, guidelines and standards and provide recommended updates and enhancements on an annual basis. 7. Review, respond to, and manage internal and external security audits. Provide evidence as required and help identify audit remediation options and timelines. *III. Job Requirements* 1. College degree in computer science or equivalent work experience. 2. 3 - 5 years in the information security field 3. 3 - 5 years of experience 4. CISSP or GIAC or other security certification desirable 5. Multi-tasking skills to include: o Ability to coordinate multiple requests simultaneously o Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 7. Strong people skills 8. Identity Management or Role Based Access Control (RBAC) experience is a plus.
