Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant

field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 4+ Years' experience with Red Hat

Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Installing, configuring, upgrading, supporting &

maintaining (RHEL) Ability to design and maintain deployment processes in

large environments Knowledge and experience dealing with large

virtualization platforms (VMWare, KVM, XEN) Verbal and written communication

skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills

(Required) Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time

(Required) Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and coordinate teams to

resolve root cause (Required) Preference is given to candidates who also

have strong scripting skills in csh, ksh, bash, Perl, and/or Python CHEF and

Puppet experience would be a plus 2+ years experience with Ruby On Rails

desired.



The Linux Engineer will ensure the deployment, high availability,

performance, and scalability of infrastructure in a 24/7 x 365 production

environment. This position will be responsible for the automation of all

system processes in both physical and cloud environments. Responsible for

implementation, maintenance, planning and capacity management of the

production and development environments. Must be able to build multiple

servers from kickstart, scripts, VMware templates, and ISO images. Must have

a strong background in troubleshooting of automation. Must have strong

experience with enterprise level concepts including high availability, fault

tolerance, disaster recovery, change management, clustering at the OS level,

and shared SAN storage.   Installing, configuring, upgrading, supporting &

maintaining (RHEL)   Provide advance troubleshooting, resolution & problem

analysis supporting architectures including Windows & Unix; DNS; NFS; NIS;

DHCP; KickStart; Apache Web Server; Tomcat; clustering; networks;   Develop

standards and guidelines for the use of RHEL servers in the data center

Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures according to corporate

standards
