If interested, please share your updated resume at *pa...@tresourceinc.com <pa...@tresourceinc.com>.* *Job Title:* Cognos Lead *Location: *Purchase, NY *Duration:* Fulltime Should have P&C Experience *Experience Required*: • *10 – 15 years of BI/DW and data architecture experience*. • Familiarity with development methodologies • 5+ years’ experience and a deep technical knowledge with Cognos Report Studio • 3+ years’ experience and a technical knowledge with Cognos Administration • Strong PL/SQL development experience with the ability to write complex and nested SQL queries • Senior level skills in building Reports, Dashboards, Scorecards and Active Reports using IBM Cognos 10.x Competencies: • Experience working in a software development environment • Microsoft Sql Server 2008 and 2012 • Clear, logical, and effective verbal/written communication skills. • Clearly demonstrated sense of urgency and bias for action. • Ability to work well under pressure and independently. • Ability to effectively negotiate with other teams to create a mutually beneficial solution • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical material. • Takes ownership of problems and develops sound solutions. • Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information.
