Role: Project Manager with SAAS implementation

Location: New York City (Local Only)

Location: 6+ months contract

Interview process:  1 phone interview and 2 subsequent ftf interviews.



This is in the HR space – Peoplesoft HR system experience or workday
experience is ideal for the team



Position Description:

This position is responsible for managing IT deliverables of critical
enterprise wide solutions.  The PMO Senior PM will own all aspects of
assigned projects to ensure successful deployments and customer
satisfaction.

         Manage business relationships involved in the establishment and
ongoing management of complex, large scale projects, which are highly
strategic and/or have cross organization impact.

         Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiation

         Develop and drive project reporting processes, tools, data and
presentations.

         Manage the content of the project in addition to tracking plan
status.

         Conduct PM quality controls to ensure project team is accurately
reporting status, plans, issues and risks.

         Develop and manage the project plans. .

         Diagnose project issues and risks and manage mitigation plans

         Monitor and execute change control for projects.

         Prepare executive presentations and governance forums.

         Prepare project reports for cost, time and resource metrics by
project for executive teams.

         Develop and drive budget plans, tracking, reporting and change
requests.

         Manage project budgets, including resource tracking.

         Work with stakeholders across multiple lines of business,
managing resource supply and control delivery prioritization and outcomes
relating to these groups.

         Uses tools from multiple frameworks or methodologies that best
fit project management scenario

         Skilled in multiple methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)

         Change management and organizational change management experience

         Working experience managing multiple, simultaneous projects.

Finance

App Development

Kind and length of experience           •           Minimum 5 years
managing large-scale, enterprise projects

•           Minimum 3 years managing project budgets

•           Minimum 3 years business analysis experience

•           Minimum experience managing 2 large COTS applications (or any
type of large Enterprise Projects)

•           Experience managing SaaS implementations and vendor
relationships

•           Experience operating in an active PMO structure

•           Contract management experience

we go….



Ideally where should this person come from? Media, Entertainment, Finance
or does it not matter.  She would like a Media company but it’s certainly
not a deal breaker if they are not from a Media/Entertainment Company



Does she need someone from a structured PMO environment? Yes she wants
someone who has come from a Structured environment.



The requirement asks for experience in at least 2 COTS projects, is that a
must? Is there a special kind of COTS implementation experience preferred?
Well Commercial off the shelf is nice, but not truly necessary, as long as
it’s a pretty substantial enterprise Level HR Project then that will
suffice, but they really need Workday.  Or something similar to that like
PeopleSoft, but really Workday.
