*Location:* Salt Lake City, UT *Duration: *1 year *Positions: 02* *CONTRACTOR MUST WORK ONSITE.* This position is for a senior level Java Web Developer who has experience in the full stack of relevant technologies including but not limited to Struts 2, JQuery and Knockout, REST and SOAP web services, and Oracle PL/SQL. *There is an urgency to hire as soon as possible. * Design and implement applications and features for the Client's website. This project will directly involve creating new pages and upgrading existing Java, Struts 2 and knockout based web applications that interact with an Oracle database for persistence. As an existing site, some development to resolve defect and change request to existing pages and applications will be required as well. *Percentage of duties in order of importance* - 60% Develop fast, reliable and scalable web applications and services using Java, Struts 2, JQuery, Knockout, Oracle PL/SQL and related technologies while following the established software development lifecycle in a team environment. - 15% Contribute design and applications architecture decisions while staying within the framework of the existing applications. - 15% Work with team members and stakeholders to implement user-friendly and accessible client interfaces. - 10% Mentor and train other team members where applicable *Mandatory Requirements:* · *Operating Systems:* Windows 7 · *Programming Language/Development Tools:* Java web development using intelliJ IDEA, Java Applications development using struts 2, JavaScript, JQuery and knockout, Design responsive interfaces using frameworks like Twitter Bootstrap · *Database Systems/Database tool: *Oracle database development using Toad or SQL Developer.
