*Role: Sr. Informatica Developer/ Architect* *Location:* Austin, TX 78751 *Duration: *8/31/2016 potential extensions The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project is currently conducting a vendor solicitation in preparation for the Design, Development, and Implementation phase of the project. This position resides with the IT EDW project team and is responsible for overseeing EDW vendor deliverables for enterprise metadata and master data management solutions. Responsibilities will include: · Development of in-depth knowledge of the existing Enterprise Metadata Repository implemented using Informatica's Metadata Manager. · Development of in-depth knowledge of existing Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) implementation using Informatica's MDM software. · Review and assessment of the design, implementation and management of security access roles and privileges for all types of metadata and master data consumers. · Participation in the development of processes and guidelines for Metadata management – change management, metadata access and sharing. This will include processes and capabilities for versioning all forms of metadata. · EDW representative for all metadata and MDM activities performed by the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) and EDW Design, Development, and Implementation (DD&I) vendor. · Participation in design and deliverable reviews as requested. *Minimum Requirements:* *Years* *Skills/Experience* *8* Experience designing and implementing Metadata and Master Data Management solutions. *4* Experience designing and implementing of Informatica PowerCenter custom solutions. *2* Experience designing and implementing a customized Informatica Metadata Management solution *2* Experience with Informatica 9 Platform (including Metadata Manager, Master Data Management, Business Glossary, Data analyst, Reporting) *4* Experience with Erwin and ERStudio data modeling tools. *2* Experience with designing Data Lineage solutions. *2* Experience with implementation of an Informatica instance on an Oracle 11g or 12c platform, preferable 12c. *Strong* Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple responsibilities. *Strong* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team playing and communication skills. *Strong* Strong technical writing skills. * Preferences:* *Years* *Skills/Experience* Some experience as an Oracle DBA desired, but not required Experience with metadata for Master Data Management solutions Experience with Security metadata Experience with Data Quality metadata Experience with both Relational and Dimensional Data Models Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
