Commercial Insurance background is a plus. *Roles & Responsibilities :* • Over all 8+ years of experience • 8+ Years of Experience in design and development of Desk top based applications in Visual Basic / Visual Basic .NET • 5+ Years of experience in ADO / ADO.NET • Expertise in design and development of COM and DCOM based n-tier applications • Expertise in Microsoft Win Form controls (both Visual Basic and .NET compatible controls) • Experience in working with third party form controls (Sheridan / Farpoint etc.) • Experience in migrating Visual Basic 6 applications to VB.NET • Exposure to reporting tools like Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, • NUnit-based Unit Testing, Mocking & Stubbing, Code Coverage • Experience in design and development of VB6 application integration with external system by consumption of web services • Exposure to in RDBMS data modeling (preferably SQL Server) and T-SQL stored procedures • Experience in ALM products like PVCS , TFS etc., • Exposure to .NET Web Services implementation using WCF. *Generic Managerial/Soft Skills:* • Should be an excellent Team player, self-starter, multi tasked, detail oriented.
